Quilters Only Solid are a great choice for quilters seeking a farbic with a slightly higher weight than a Country Classic Solid. Made with a construction that uses a lower thread count of thicker threads, resulting in a tighter weave. The fabric is 100% Cotton, 60x60/20x20 = 120 threads per square inch a thread size of 20 and a weight 1.44 grams.
I use this fabric all the time. I never pre-shrink and have not had a problem with shrinkage or colors bleeding. Quality is good but won't hold up for years under normal wear and tear. If you need better quality you will pay more than twice as much elsewhere. It's a matter of choice and budget.
I am a big fan of Kona Cotton, and this fabric is a close substitute at a much better price. It is of a similar weight and is very easy to work with.
Must preshrink. Good weight, sews nicely, irons easily. I use this all the time - especially in white and black usually from the stores.
I purchased a lot of these fabrics to begin quilting. I prewashed and ironed all fabrics. They had about a 30% shrink rate and dark colors bled terribly through three washings. I won't buy fabric again from Jo-Ann's for quilting. No problems with any other merchandise.
