Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beware of shrinkage I had something happen that I have not seen before. I was using this fabric (100% cotton in the New Navy color) for curtains, and ironed it before sewing. To get the creases out, I misted the fabric with water and watched it tighten up before my eyes. It literally contracted immediately, and I hadn't even ironed it yet. The 44 inch width shrunk to 42 inches. It ironed nicely and made nice curtains, but I would caution you - before cutting, mist and iron this fabric to pre-shrink!!! I wonder what will happen when I actually put this in the wash?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good Fabric is a nice weight, honeydew color did not fade with washing. My only complaint is the shrinkage. This fabric was a scant 44" wide when I purchased it and barely 42" after pre-washing. I am concerned with the possibility of future shrinkage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value but should be cheaper I use this fabric all the time. I never pre-shrink and have not had a problem with shrinkage or colors bleeding. Quality is good but won't hold up for years under normal wear and tear. If you need better quality you will pay more than twice as much elsewhere. It's a matter of choice and budget.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Fabric for Great Price! I am a big fan of Kona Cotton, and this fabric is a close substitute at a much better price. It is of a similar weight and is very easy to work with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quilters'Solids Must preshrink. Good weight, sews nicely, irons easily. I use this all the time - especially in white and black usually from the stores.

Rated 0 out of 5 by from Quilting Fabric I purchased a lot of these fabrics to begin quilting. I prewashed and ironed all fabrics. They had about a 30% shrink rate and dark colors bled terribly through three washings. I won't buy fabric again from Jo-Ann's for quilting. No problems with any other merchandise.
