  • Purl Essence™ Rainbow Classic: color of choice - 1 ball
  • US Size J-10 hook or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle
  • 1-3" button

STITCH GUIDE
Linen Stitch
(odd number of sts)
Row 1: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, [ch 1, sk next sc, sc in next sc] to end, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, [sc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, sk next sc] to last 2 sts, sc in next ch-1 sp, sc in last sc, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, [ch 1, sk next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp] to end, turn.
Rep Rows 2 & 3 for patt.

Pillow
Front Bottom
Chain on 33 sts. Work in Linen Stitch for 10". Fasten off.

Front Top
Chain 33 sts. Work in Linen Stitch for 4". Fasten off.

Back
Chain 33 sts. Work in Linen Stitch for 12". Fasten off.

Finishing
Overlap two front pieces by 2", such that they measure 12" tall. Seam together at overlap. Seam front to back around all 4 sides.

Button Loop
At center of Front Top, join yarn. Chain a length of 4", and join yarn again in the same place. Fasten off.

Sew Button to Front Bottom such that it lines up with the Button Loop. Weave in all ends.
