Great Yarn

Reviewer: Dianna, 03/31/2013

I have never had a problem with this yarn pilling. I made my grand daughter a little sun dress with this yarn when she was about 3 and she is still wears it at the age of 5 as a sun top. No pilling after all that wearing. I also never had a problem with knots or breakage. Great price also on sale.

heirloom stuff

Reviewer: Amanda, 10/18/2012

I made my son an Aran hooded pullover when he was 3. It has now gone through 2 sisters, and been washed at least 50 times in a washer [ I roll it up to dry]. It looks wonderful still, and I just happily passed it on to our local charity shop, knowing some mum will be thrilled with it! No pilling, stretching or problems at all. I have made blankets for the kids, baby kimono sweaters, boot socks and endless toques for the children at my house. I reccommend this yarn with no reservations!

Lion brand Cotten-Ease yarn

Reviewer: Sarellen, 09/18/2012

This yarn works up well. I crochet and did not get splitting. I pull out from the center and this works quite well. I have not had knots or tangles.

Really love this yarn

Reviewer: Kathy, 01/27/2011

This yarn is wonderful to knit with. It washes and dries in the machine very well. I only wish there were more selections by weight with this awesome cotton blend. I am always looking for a good DK weight, cotton blend, that washes well for children's and adult's clothing patterns.

Super Soft & Fabulous Colors

Reviewer: Sandy, 07/19/2010

I have worked with many 100% cotton yarns and found them to be a bit stiff. After looking for a baby blanket pattern, I found one that called for this yarn and it worked up beautifully. (http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/70190A.html?noImages=)The cotton-acrylic blend is wonderfully soft and crocheted up extremely well. I agree that some of the skeins have a break in the yarn (knots) but so do many other skeins. I would recommend ALWAYS buying sufficent yarn (at least one extra skein) for any project - to avoid the dreaded dyelot problem. It's a little pricey, but well worth it!

disappointed, but still use

Reviewer: babs, 04/26/2010

Have written many review, but not once had it shown in the reviews. Have used just about every color of the new Cotton-ease. It does pile, had knots and breaks, but there is not another yarn that has the advantage of the blend of cotton yarn. Only purchase on sale. Everything said, appreciate the yarn..

confused

Reviewer: Sandy, 03/23/2010

Knits like a dream, and I like the subtle colors. I'm confused by reviewers who complainted it's not a pull skein. I've been using it as one, by pulling out a little extra to start and untangling it a bit. It pulls just fine after that. So far I've found no knots in the two skeins I've used...just lucky, I guess.
