Excellent yarn choiceI have been crocheting hats for several years for a gift every year.
Started using this yarn since I can use one skein for women or men hat.
Prices are not bad and I can find easily at local

AWFUL QUALITYThis yarn is awful! It splits so badly I’m having trouble making a simple square. I’ve had to rip my work out twice because of snags! I often buy brands I know don’t do this regardless of a pattern writers choice; however, this time I wanted to match the blanket exact as it’s for an entry in my county fair and I couldn’t find anything similar elsewhere. This is my first time using Lion Brand and I’m not impressed. I will say it’s quite soft, but splitting with every stitch is a no-go for me. I’m glad I have months to get this done, as it’s going to be very slow going.

Terrible Customer ServiceI ordered this about a week ago. I kept getting notifications saying it was delayed, then I got a notification saying it was delivered. So, in one day it said delayed and delivered. They don’t even know where it’s at. I did NOT receive 4 Bryce Canyon, or 2 North Cascades.
I called the store the website said it came from and they said it didn’t come from there and they can’t help me. They said it came from a warehouse. I called the customer service number and got a message saying they have a high number of calls, so only respond to emails. This is terrible customer service! I won’t be ordering from them again!
The yarn is very soft and I’m hoping it works up well. So, I would recommend the yarn to someone, but I would NOT recommend ordering online.

Heartland Petrified Forest = GreyThe yarn has a sage hue online but the color is solid grey. So if you want grey then it's a good yarn for you.

Don’t order for delivery, go pick them upI ordered 13 yarn skeins last week from the Reno store that were in stock, but now only a few are shipping out, it’s been about a week and they are coming all the way from Florida! Why didn’t they come from Reno and do you know when I’ll get the rest of my order. I probably could have picked them up by now.

LOVE this yarn, but buy in-store for accurate color!I love this yearn and have used it for a number of projects. The yarn is soft, durable, and easy to work with. I love all of the colors I've used, but will say that the website photos aren't very accurate for all of the colors. I'd highly recommend checking them out in a craft store or looking up other photos online before purchasing, so you have a better idea of what each color looks like. Otherwise, enjoy! :)

Colors are SO offThe yarn is nice quality, however the colors are pretty much all off. I bought 8 colors for a project, and only 1 so far is even close to the same as the photo (Haleakala). I will never buy this brand online again without seeing it first. The pictures are a horrible representation of the actual shades.

Beware Petrified ForestPetrified Forest, by the picture of the website, is supposed to be a light green. What I received is very clearly just silvery grey. I don’t know if it was a label mixup, but if you’re looking for a green yarn, skip this one
