Beautiful colors but what’s up with the yarn weigh
I will never buy this yarn again!! The weight of the yarn goes from a thin fingerling to a bulky all in the same skein! Who thought that was a good idea?! This is not bargain bin yarn! I expect better from Lion Brand. The only reason I am continuing with my blanket is because it’s for my little girl and she picked the colors. Otherwise, it would be returned immediately!

couldn't use it. Yarn kept breaking
I just received three skeins of this yarn last week. I was excited to use them to make a scarf because it's soft and the color is lovely. I agree with other reviews that the color is inconsistent between skeins (even though I got the same dye lot), and the thickness varies along the strand greatly. I was going to put up with those downsides until I tried to cast on. The yarn broke in the middle of casting on - I didn't even actually start knitting - TWICE!
The yarn just disintegrated and came apart. I don't want to start my project and have this keep happening all over the place in my work.

Shiny roving with nice drape & color
I’ve made multiple items with this yarn and get compliments all the time! Especially eye-catching for a hexagon granny square cardigan and saves the pain for weaving in ends with the smashing color changes. Does get a bit fuzzy. Haven’t seen what washing does to it yet.

Wish I could review
I ordered this yarn in Blue Lagoon and Boardwalk. Both shipped separately and the one with Blue Lagoon came today, but was VERY disappointed when opened the package. The yarn received is NOT even close to what I ordered. Now I'm going to be out the shipping because of the company's careless mistake. I assume my other order will be inccorect as well. First and LAST time I will be ordering from here. Photo pictured is the yarn I received but didnt order.

This Yarn Is A Creative Inspiration
I have created so many projects with Landscapes yarn! I was first attracted to it because of its self-striping characteristic and the beautiful colorways. When I began working with it, it was so soft and has an elegant sheen to it. I've made scarfs, cowls, hats, ponchos and shrugs with it, both for ladies and men. The gift recipients love the texture and colors, and I love the uniqueness of the garments I make and keep for myself. It can be made up in a variety of different sizes of hooks and/ or needles for different effects. I have tried other brands of self-striping roving yarn and Landscapes always gives me the best results. I've used all but one of the available colors. So please make more colors! I want to keep creating with this yarn!

Love the yarn, bring back the full range of color options
I've been using this yarn for a few years now. It's SO soft and I love the colors and I think it works up so nicely using a 6 or 6.5mm crochet hook. I've used one skein for a longer/4" wide scarf and a few skeins for shawls and they've been gorgeous. The roving colors are really stunning (IMO). I also love the drape of the yarn with a 6.5m hook.
One key to using this yarn is to NOT pull yarn from the center--it's not a center pull yarn, people. That said, the one thing that bothers me is that I have encountered random knots and that's a bummer--especially when you're paying so much for a skein. There also used to be a few more colors that don't seem to be offered anymore (I'm assuming it's an issue with the manufacturer and not that of the distributors)-Wild Flowers, Boardwalk, Coral Reef, Sand Dune, Metropolis to name a few. Anyway, I recommend trying it. Especially if it's ever on sale.

I love how easy this yarn is to crochet with. I chose the volcano color to make a hooded hat and cowl for my daughter and I love how it turned out.

Horrible experience!
I am just getting back into crochet and this yarn was enough to make me want to quit! The thickness of the yarn varied from so very thin (I thought it might break!) to so thick I could barely pull a loop with the hook I was using. And they have random colors tied together in knots (4 knotted joins in one skein). I loved the colors, but I will never buy this brand again. Wish I could give it zero stars.
