Also frustrated
I too like to knit from the skein if it supposed to be that type of skein. My last purchase was so bound up in the middle. Have had to put it in a plastic bag and roll off the big ball from the outside. If I used this all the time, I'd buy and balletr.
15 oz does not = a pound
If it's supposed to be a pound why is the weight listed at 15 oz. Why is regular price 6.99 and sale price 7.49. It's better to wait until it's not on sale and use the 40% coupon.

I didn't find this yarn to be any worse than other brands. Some splitting issues, but overall I liked working with it. Very soft. I would use it again.
Good Value
This nice yarn, great for nearly any project...BUT, I do get a chuckle out of the 'pound of love' title. If you look at it's description, it says the product is 15 ounces!! Uumm, 16 ounces = 1 pound? LOL
Great ball of yarn
I have this is almost every color it comes in. With 3 brand new nieces and nephews in the last few months Pound of Love has come in handy. I have been able to make each a birthday present, Christmas present and baby shower present and still have leftover yarn to make items for my Etsy shop - Great value for the price. And if you can score a pound with a 50% off coupon, even better.
