I love this yarn

I have bought several skeins in different solid colors over the last 2 months. the yarn has been consistent in color, has not thinned out in any of the skein I have used. I also have not seen any knots. The biggest challenge is sometimes finding the color I want in stock at my local joanns. yes that is my real name I have no conection to the store except as a frequent customer.

I have been using Vanna's Eggplant so far for an afghan and it has been great! I have found no knots, etc. in the skeins and it is smooth on my hands! I also love the color! I would buy again!

Bad yarn

First, I love the color 306 Tangerine Mist, perfect if you are a Longhorn fan. I bought three skeins, the first has had knots and even a partial break, requiring stops to cut out and restarts - four times so far on this first skein where typically you might have one. So the quality is lacking and quite disappointing.

I have used a lot of this yarn in the past but I am unhappy that it has changed from 145 yards to make 3 oz. and now it is 171 yards to make 3.5 oz. That makes the yarn thinner and not as nice. It makes it sound as though you are getting a better deal, but the yarn quality is not quite as nice.

I used this yarn for the first time to make some boot toppers and I just love the feel of the yarn and it was so nice to work with. I will use this again.
