Patons® Bohemian™ (2.8 oz/80 g; 68 yds/62 m)

Green Tea  2 balls

 

MEASUREMENTS

Approximately 8” [20.5 cm] deep at narrowest point, excluding loops, 10” [25.5 cm] deep at widest point, excluding loops, 29” [73.5 cm] circumference.

 

DIRECTIONS

 Note: Cowl is worked sideways.

With 2 strands of yarn held together and using finger crochet technique in video, chain 12.

1st row: 1 single crochet into 5th chain from last chain and in each of next 6 chains. (You will have 7 single crochet stitches and a chain-4 loop). Turn.

2nd and 3rd rows: Chain 1. 1 single crochet in each single crochet to end of row. Turn. Repeat last 2 rows 3 times more.

Next row: Chain 1. 1 single crochet in each single crochet to last single crochet. 2 single crochet in last single crochet. Turn.

Next row: Chain 4. 1 single crochet in each single crochet to end of row. Turn. Repeat last 2 rows twice more. (You will have 10 single crochet at end of last row).

Next row: Chain 1. 1 single crochet in each single crochet to last single crochet.  Turn. Leave remaining single crochet unworked.

Next row: Chain 4. 1 single crochet in each single crochet to end of row. Turn.

Repeat last 2 rows twice more. (You will 7 single crochet at end of last row).

Next row: Chain 1. 1 single crochet in each single crochet to last single crochet. 2 single crochet in last single crochet. Turn.

Repeat last row 7 times more.

Fasten off. Sew first and last rows together to form Cowl.
