Inkodye is an amazing new way to print t-shirts and textiles. Its color develops and binds permanently when exposed to bright sunlight or UV.

Inkodye can be brushed, rolled, dipped, stamped, stenciled, screen printed, and more! Inkodye binds permanently to any natural fabric such as cotton, rayon, linen, canvas, silk, and more. Results are soft to the touch and can be machine-washed without fading.

Inkodye is the only water-based dye of its kind. Unlike plastisol inks, cyanotype and many alternative photo chemicals, Inkodye does not use PVC, toxic solvents, iron or silver in its formula.

Inkodye colors can be mixed together and diluted with water to create a wide range of colors and effects. Note that the color is subtractive and works best on light-colored materials.

DIRECTIONS: Shake well and apply to fabric. Blot out excess using a paper towel. Create your design using Inkofilm or anything that casts a shadow. Expose to sunlight or bright UV light for 10-20 minutes or until color reaches full saturation. Machine wash using Inkowash to remove unexposed dye. Double your exposure time in overcast weather.

The free Lumi App (http://lumi.co/app) makes it easy to quickly mock-up your Inkodye prints, create negatives and share your designs with friends.

  • Makes approximately 8 prints (12x12 inches or 30x30 cm). Dilute with water to extend Inkodye’s printing power.
