Description

KIT: We Made It by Jennifer Garner Super Hero Costume

Awesome crime fighting calls for cape that’s out of this world! You’ll look extra cool day or night when you add glow-in-the-dark paint and embellishments.

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Tulip® Glow-in-the-dark Dimensional Fabric Paint

  • Scrap paper

  • Covered work surface

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place the cape right side up on the work surface.

  2. Practice working with the paint on the scrap paper, drawing straight and squiggly lines until comfortable with how the paint flows out of the tip of the bottle.

  3. When comfortable using the paint, draw around the outside edge of the fabric design on the cape to highlight the design. Be careful not to smear the wet paint. If this becomes a problem, allow the paint to dry to the touch (about 2 hours) before adding more designs to the project.

  4. When the project is complete allow the paint to dry for 24 hours before wearing the costume.

Glow-in-the-dark pony beads make fun bracelets or necklaces as an accessory.

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Glow-in-the-dark pony beads

  • Cord or elastic cord

  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

  1. String the beads as desired on the cord.

  2. Cut the cord to the length desired, allowing 3" for tying a knot as a closure.

  3. Tie the knot and trim excess cord.

  4. If the cord tends to ravel, making it hard to string the beads on, wrap a small amount of tape on the end like a shoelace tip to help the bead glide on easily.
