Honestly, I expected more out of this bone folder. It's heavy, which is great for making tight creases but the tip is so round, not sharp at all, and the indentation it makes isn't too good. Liked it but didn't love it.
I use this on my cards and scrapbooking for nice crisp folds. easy to use.
You can use a bone folder to make an indentation to fold a card in half, then use the edge of it to flatten down the fold. I used it for every card I made--and I make one or more a week--before I got my scoring machine. It's good for scoring any fold line you need on paper or cardstock, to give a sharp, smooth crease. There's just no comparison between a bone-folder crease and one that was just folded without being scored with the bone folder beforehand.
I use my "Bone Folder" all the time. It helps me crease all papers I use particularly photo paper and other heavy weight papers so they look smooth and polished as if I had them done by a professional or they were purchased that way. Prior to knowing what a bone folder was my projects just did not look as nice. The bone folder is one of my most important crafting tools. I have purchased a second one as I use it so often and it is easy to misplace.
