Sulky 40 wt King spool
I like using Sulky 40 wt embroidery thread but I do not like tge King spool size. The thread comes off the spool great when new but when you are using it at half or more gone that fine thread catches on the edge of the spool. Though you don't feel any rough edge on the spool that thread does. I will never again buy any of the King sized spools. I will buy the larger size because the thread easily comes off the large spool.

Terrible quality
This is the worst thread I've ever used. It breaks constantly and curls up. Will never use this brand again.

Convenient but sold used thread
I gave this product 2 stars only because I ordered online @ Joann.com, did store pick up & 1 of the spools that was selected for me had been used. The reason I knew it was used is because I had bought 4 spools of thread, 3 were new & un-used & lucky me got the the 4th spool that had been either returned or used in a class. That's the downside of not picking out your own items to inspect. I would have thought that a store employee would have checked it over before plopping it down in my bag! I didn't think to inspect it it until I got home. There was nothing wrong w/the actual thread-just that the spool had been used. While it is convenient to order online, walk in the store at your convenience, skip the long holiday lines to get your purchase...you still need to check over the order-which I learned my lesson!
