  • 1 yd. Simplicity®/MD silver metallic lace trim
  • 1 yd. Simplicity®/MD 3/8" silver beaded square trim
  • 1 yd. 7/8" silver satin ribbon
  • 1 yd. 1/4" silver satin ribbon
  • Sewing machine & coordinating thread
  • Scissors
  • Basic sewing supplies
  • Iron & pressing surface
  • Tape measure

*Please note this sash was made using measurements for a 25" waist.
Yardages may vary depending on individual waist measurements.

1.Cut metallic lace to the length of waist measurement.
2.Position the 7/8" ribbon down the center of the lace and pin in place.
3.Stitch ribbon in place by sewing down both sides of satin ribbon, stitching as close to edge as possible.
4.Press sash flat on medium heat.
5.Turn under both short ends of sash 1/2" and stitch down, creating a finished edge on both sides.
6.Cut two lengths of 1/4" ribbon to desired length for tying.
7.Position one end of 1/4" ribbon in the center of the wrong side of the short finished edges of the sash. Stitch in place.
8.Cut length of beaded square trim to fit down center of sash.
9.Hot glue beaded square trim in place.
