RING (make 6)
With D, ch 6.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across – 5 sc at the end of this row.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across.
Rep Row 2 until piece measures 6 in. from beginning. Fasten off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
Felting
Fill sink with hot water and small amount of liquid soap (hand or dish soap or even shampoo will work). Wearing rubber gloves, submerge Leaves and Rings in soapy water. Rub surface of knit fabric, working over entire surface until sts begin to lose their definition. Rinse gently to remove soap. Allow to dry.

With desired yarn color, embroider straight st leaf vein details on Leaves. Seam ends of Rings. Sew a Leaf to each Ring, over the seam.

ABBREVIATIONS
