Rated 5 out of 5 by from This waterproof tape really works. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Tape from 3-M. This is great stuff. I managed to cut my thumb and I needed a bandage. The bandages wouldn't stay stick on my thumb. So I decided to try this Nextcare tape. Wow did it work! I wore it for 2 days, and it was still stuck! And my cut was almost healed. I could move my thumb just like always and actually forgot that the cut was there. I would highly recommend this Nextcare tape to anyone who needs to put a cover over a wound.

I recently injured my right ring finger and need to prepare some chicken for dinner. Knowing that I would be washing my hands frequently while preparing the chicken and wanting to keep my wound clean, I wrapped my finger with a band aid and the over wrapped it with the Nexcare absolute waterproof tape. I had washed my hands several times during the preparation process and the tape held up tremendously well. Even though it had gotten wet many times, it adhered to the band aid and did not lose its grip on my finger.

It has enough hold that it gets the job done but also removes easily. I like that it is waterproof for added durability. It is flexible tape which is great for athletic use.

So many times bandaids just can’t fit or stay where you need them and this product fills that need. It sticks where you want it too and yet can be easily removed. I think this is a great addition to any first aid kit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a nice pair of hiking boots that give me a terrible blister on my right inside ankle every time I wear them. I was given a package of Nexcare Waterproof Tape to sample and decided to see if this tape would help. This tape is amazing! Not only is is waterproof, but it is soft, almost like mole skin. I put a strip on my ankle, went on a hike, and didn't get a blister! The tape has a soft slightly stretchy feel to it and was very comfortable. I completely forgot it was there. I love that it is waterproof as well. Normally when I hike I switch my boots for water shoes so I can stand in the lakes and rivers. This tape held up fantastically. I didn't have to put a new piece on, I was able to change from boots to sandals and back to boots without worrying about my ankle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sticky waterproof tape [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this waterproof tape to cover an external heart monitor while showering, and it worked so so. The tape is fairly sticky. Some of the tape would lift up near my shoulder when it got wet, so some water got underneath the tape, but I think if someone used the tape away from joints and areas that move, it might stay in place better. I received this waterproof tape for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I liked that it was easy to cut and tear. It’s a good thickness too, if you’re wearing it around ankles and are breaking in new shoes, this might prevent blisters. I do wish the tape was wider though. The stickiness was good and didn’t leave sticky residue on your skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this tape because it’s really easy to use and it holds well without having my skin feeling itchy. It holds up well when wet but not soaked. I would definitely recommend using this tape for small bandages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While raking, the wooden handle took off some of my skin between my thumb and pointer finger, near the lower knuckle of my thumb. I only give this detail because that is an awkward spot for a bandaid. But still, I tried to wear bandaids for 2-3 days. One side would stay on but the other side would always hang off. I also wash my hands a lot (I'm an elementary teacher) so the water would not help it to stay on. I almost gave up but then I remembered that I had this waterproof tape. I was a little afraid to use it because it seemed thick and seemed like it might hurt my scrape. I decided to try it anyway. I put a gauzepad on and taped it. Wow!! I noticed a difference straight away. First of all, the tape is thick but it's super soft and flexible. The stickiness is superb. I washed my hands a few times and have been doing my normal things. I even showered with it on. Everything is still on with no signs of moving! The tape is comfortable too. I'm not sure why I'd use anything else now. Highly recommend this product. It's better than I expected!
