Run your strip through the front of the quilt first and stop before pulling all the way through, then run your strip through from the back side to the front and tie off. This holds your layers together and keeps your batting from sliding and bunching up inside the quilt sandwich.

Can someone who has already made it explain the last step to me..about using the darning needle and double knotting? Do the strands of fleece go thru all layers and double know on both sides??? thank you so much!!
