DIRECTIONS: Enlarge pattern pieces to the measurements noted.

1. From Fabric A: cut puppy front and back.

2. From Warm & Natural® batting: cut puppy front & back. Baste batting to wrong side of front & back fabric.

3. From Fabric B: cut 23"x3", 35"x3" for side gussets.

4. From Fabric C: cut four 28"x1 3/4" strips for cording. Sew strips together. Sew in cord.

5. Use zipper foot & stitch covered cording to front & back; clip corners as needed.

6. From Fabric C: cut ears, tail and tongue. Sew, right sides together, with 1/4" seam allowance. Clip curves; turn. Fold open edges of ears 1/4". Stitch to the head.

7. Baste tongue & tail to center of gusset strips on 3" edge. 23"x3" strip goes around head & back; 35" strip goes around feet & body. Sew strips together. Reinforce both sides of strip with 1/2" seam at each turning point. Clip turning points to stitching as indicated on pattern.

8. Sew gusset to puppy front so seams with the tongue and the tail are properly positioned. Repeat with back of puppy; leave an opening for turning. Clip corners carefully. Turn puppy right side out.

9. Stuff puppy with fiberfill. Tail should stick up; tongue should point down. Sew opening closed.
