This afghan is 38'' square and made of easy-care Royal Classic fabric. Features 25 six-inch blocks for stitching (84 threads in each 14 count block). Pre-fringed. The Rainbow style has pink, yellow and blue twill dividing the blocks.

Good quality afghan
This baby Afghan fabric is great quality; very worthwhile to spend my time to cross stitch. It’s soft too.

I've cross stitched every other square with the baby's name & birth date in the center square for each of my 19 (soon to be 20) grandchildren. I back it with a cotton/poly blend and "tie" each unstitched square for a great keepsake. Must admit--am a few "blankets" behind--grandkids came too close together!! Fabric is easy to work with and work goes fairly quickly. I use 4 strands of DMC (most patterns call for six) and 2 strands for backstitch.
Blankets was nicely, so can actually be used!
