Olfa Circle Cutter is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy Toledo! I made one circle on the round fleece blanket with my regular rotary cutter and it took forever, not to mention they weren't consistently the same size. I purchased the circle cutter and was able to cut 80 circles in 20 minutes and they were all identical!! That was 40 at double thickness fleece. I made one practice cut and was ready to go. I can't wait to make another blanket. The cutting will be the easiest part. Only thing I wish is that they made an 18mm wave or pinking blade for this cutter. Not sure if that's possible with that small size but it would add some pizzaz to the end product. Highly reccomend this cutter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Having surgery to repair a rotator cuff tear, I knew I wouldn't be doing much quilting. Decided to do Yo-Yo's while recovering. Bought the Circle Cutter by Quilter's Rule. Never could get a circle cut properly with it even before surgery. You have to be a contortionist to use it and you have to press so hard it causes the fabric to bunch. I ordered the Olfa and a week out of surgery, a very sore shoulder and with stitches still in place, it took me 2 tries to get a perfect circle with the Olfa cutter. It's easy to use, takes the less expensive 18mm blades rather than the more expensive 45mm blades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A nice surprise: a tool that works really well! I've had this cutter for years and never used it. Just last week, hurrying to finish Christmas projects, I remembered it and used it to cut out circles for some round pillows. My fabric was a thick, textured double-layered linen, and this cutter went through two thicknesses of it so easily I couldn't believe it. The time and effort it saved me was substantial, and the resulting fabric rounds were perfect. I have arthritis in my hands and this made a painful job a pure joy. I love this tool--just wish there was one for making even larger circles. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yo-yo Heaven I bought this little gizmo for making a yo-yo doll project, and it is not only easy to use, but cuts very well - I was able to cut three layers of cotton fabric without a problem. This newer design with the rotary blade makes more sense than Olfa's previous model with the razor type blade (which drags on fabric and only manages to bunch it up). The ratchet knob on top allows you to turn the arm without having to reposition your hand. I am sure this handy tool will get a lot of use for future projects too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works wonderful but have had to go through 4 I have a business making hair bows and this was a God send for all the circles I've had to cut to make my fabric flowers. I do use it quite a bit but I change my blades often. Within 1 year of using it I have had 4 break on me already. The metal part that goes in between the blade ends up breaking in half. It's been very frustrating going through that many rotary cutters but other than that problem it's such a time saver and cuts so easy and fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did what I needed it to do. Bought this to cut out discs and rings of a 1/16" high density rubber. Worked perfectly using plywood as a "cutting board." Use was a breeze, "like a hot knife through butter." The picture made me think the frame would be metal, but it's actually plastic. No issue though, didn't notice any bending or flexing. Only real disadvantage is not being able to purchase extra blades at the store itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No blisters! After making a set of 4 petal place mats, requiring 48 8" circles, all cut by hand, I bought this tool -- I turned out a yo-yo toy clown in record time. No more blisters! Would recommend this to anyone who needs precise, painless and efficient circles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for fabric I bought this when it was on sale in July to prepare for an upcoming event. I needed lots of circles cut out and this was suppose to make it easier. IT DIDN'T. It catches the fabric and causes it to bunch. Creates lopsided ovals and not circles. The edges are not smooth. They look like I ripped the fabric.
