It also came delivered as if it was re-packaged from someone else returning it, probably for the same reason. Maybe they are hoping no one notices it? It should be sent to the manufacturer for 100% repair and then sold as a refurbished item. I emailed customer service to assist me with an exchange of product for a new one, not a return and I was not offered assistance with that. Just a return. So, I am returning for a full refund and will purchase an alternative product elsewhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Switch This may not be a bad lamp but the one I got shipped to me was in a box that looked like it had already been used, and not well packed. The lamp itself was also dirty, and after only one try, the switch stopped working properly. It would not always turn on so probably there was a short somewhere. I took it back to the store to return it and had to go through the purchase line, which was long. Joanns gave me no problem in returning it, but very disappointed in the product and the wait time at Joanns.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great lighting…. but The lamp is sturdy and gives out great light for my sewing table. But…. the lamp has a low but high pitched continuous humming sound. I was told this is inherent to the bulb itself and my hearing may be more sensitive to this sound than most people. I was also told the bulb or ballast are bad. I just received this lamp last week. Told to take bulb out and reinsert-it did not help. I am hoping to work past this sound but if I can’t I will have to get another one that is LED. Thus the 2* rating.
