Challenging!
Started giving paint by numbers a try about a year ago & am thoroughly enjoying this pastime. Did a little checking out different brands and settled on Paintworks by Dimensions seeing all the favorable reviews!
I love rural scenes like this one. Some of the individual shades and mixes don’t quite work for me, but that’s the beauty of this craft: you can be creative and come up with a mix of your own that does work for you. Mixing colors adds challenge, making it more interesting and an opportunity for creativity.

Stay at home pasttime
This is my fourth paint by number project in two years. Picked it up to take on a trip last year. Started again this year with staying at home measures. This is my first from Joann and by far the best. Paints have a workable composition and I especially like having to blend colors for better effects. Hope more selections will become available. Wasn’t a lot to choose from, yet probably due to demand during these times. Very relaxing and time consuming hobby.

Fun but very difficult
I'm enjoying this. I'm using my own paintbrush that's very very thin and short bristled for most of it. I learned later in the project that mixing equal parts of paint doesn't match the picture. You have to guess at which color you need more or less of in order for it to look right. Also, there's not enough black paint--I had to use my own that I fortunately had.This is for the advanced "paint-by-number" enthusiast.

I love how the paint covers. Not so keen on mixing the paints but had mastered the technique. I will be finished soon and looking forward the ordering another.
