Patons Grace Yarn is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Cotton Yarn.... I truly love this yarn for crocheting flowers! It is the perfect weight of cotton, the colors are vibrant and plentiful. I use the green in so many of my designs because it makes the prefect leaf. There are softer colors, too, if you want pastels. It has a wonderful feel to it and holds structure well. It's my favorite cotton yarn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for wearables This is my favorite cotton yarn. It has a beautiful sheen. I've crocheted three items using this. All three turned out beautifully. It washes well, although dark colors fade with washing over time. Items are easy to block. This yarn doesn't split or knot much. It's a bit more expensive than low cost yarns, but is well worth the cost. This is as nice as much more expensive comparable yarns.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this yarn I used it to make a sweater for myself. It's stood up to several washings (on delicate cycle, line dried), and I still get compliments on it. I don't know if it was the particular skiens I used, but I did find a few knots that had to be cut out. Otherwise, I'm more than happy with it and will definitely use it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Yarn, but...... I constantly work with Patons Grace. A lot of my products in my online shop are made with this yarn, especially summer items like bikinis and halter tops. I don't really like knitting with it, but it's perfect for crochet.. I was in touch with the manufacturer / mill several times, due to the fact that the quality changes all the time. I had a lot of trouble with several of the colors, but especially with the white yarn. All of a sudden the thickness changed by a third, the pearly design was gone, and/or the mercerized shine was non-existent. I was told that yes, they knew there was a 'bad batch', but they sent it to the stores anyway. I often have products with different colors, and there was no way that I could even use them together. And using it by itself, it looked very poor, and on top of that I had to change all my patterns to adjust to the thinner yarn. Things like that should not happen, especially not in that 'quality'.... I was very disappointed. I would have thought that a computer somehow measures the quality of a batch, but no, it's a person who decides what it good and what isn't, just by looking at it (maybe feeling it) and that person might not know anything about the yarn, or about yarn in general. Yes, altogether I love Patons Grace, but only if the person in charge of accepting a batch, has a good day.... With no other yarn have I ever had a problem like that, and I think I've worked with pretty much all of them.... :-) Another problem at the stores: Patons Grace is always poorly stocked. Sometimes I have to travel through several cities to find enough for a single project, and of course, the lot numbers are all over.... Not what I can work with when even white comes in 10 different shades, and the quality changes as mentioned before. No shop seems to be able to adjust to a higher demand, and I don't always have enough time to order online.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed in this yarn!! I ordered several skeins online as my store does not carry this. It has a dull finish, does not feel mercerized at all & has no sheen at all. This must be part of the bad batch a previous reviewer was talking about. This yarn looks & feels like any other cotton yarn you would use for pot holders. So disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best cotton this is the best cotton I have been able to find.I could not believe the quality for the price! The only other cotton I can compare it to, is an egyptian cotton sold by a french brand which is no longer sold in this country, but it was several times the price of "Grace". The colours are beautiful, I just wish you had a better selection of them in stock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Favorite Yarn I buy and buy again this yarn. I knit and knit with this yarn. It knits great and the finished product is superb. After wasing in the machine and drying in the machine, it still looks new. i keep making swaeaters for my grandchildren and they beg for more as they grow. It is a wonderful yarn even if it is a little more expensive, it is worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite yarn! I absolutely LOVE this yarn. I've used it for a couple of summer tops and then last night was working with it using a small hook to make a very detailed square. I am always impressed by how well it holds up -- never separates on the hook. And it feels so good. Every time I use it I mutter over and over "I LOVE this yarn."
