Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great yarn! I've used this yarn before and have made hats and cowls from it. It so soft and "comfy." I bought the last "batch" to make a poncho for my 20-year old grandaughter. She picked out the color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crocheted a Beautiful Blanket I have just finished crocheting a BEAUTIFUL baby blanket with this yarn and I had absolutely NO problems with it. I used 9 skeins of the same dye lot and there was no problem with the color and I did not split the yarn once. I used a J hook and it made up a big SOFT fluffy blanket that the new mother and her whole family oohed and aahed over. Made me feel pretty good too. I bought it on sale for 4.00 ea. From my experience, I would highly recommend this yarn.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice feel, color off I ordered the Zen Variegated to make a baby blanket. I love the feel and, so far, I have not had trouble with splitting or splicing. But the color is nothing like the website picture...the website makes it seem like a blue/green color combination, and I would call the yarn more of a sage green. I will probably use it again in the future but I am reluctant to order a large amount.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this yarn! I love love love this yarn. I have used it to knit a shawl, a sweater for my son and several hats/scarves and mitten sets. The yarn knits up easily. Some say it's splitty, but in my experience, splittyness, is more a fault of the knitter or the needles than a yarn. It wears and washes wonderfully. Just wish it was a bit cheaper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Soft Yarn, Good Value Ordered 20 skeins in Aran to knit up my Starsky Cardigan. So far I like working with this yarn; it's soft and works up easily on Addi's but can be a bit splitty, especially when doing cables. Overall, it's a decent quality yarn and good value too. Wouldn't know about the wash and wear aspect though. Just my two cents.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from BEAUTIFUL COLOR I purchased the taupe and natural. (The taupe is beautiful (color). I love the sheen) ...I wouldn't consider this yarn CHUNKY though. It's too thin. ...And the Natural is thinner still. Until I read these reviews, I was convinced that there was a mistake with the labeling. ...I'm a bit disappointed in the weight, but I'd consider purchasing it again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK Yarn Like other reviewers, I do not like to use a lot of acrylics, but to make some fast slippers at a low price, I succumbed to the pretty tweed. It was ok, soft and knits up thick and easy, but 2 of the 3 skeins were riddled with knots and "balls" making it a big tangle, good thing, I reround the skeins into balls before I started. I too agree it was rather expensive and if my local knitting shop had been open during the holidays, I think I could have gotten a better quality there for the same price. I would not use again.
