- Lion Brand® Heartland Yarn, 1 skin each: Olympic (A), Redwood (B) or colors of choice
- Knitting needles size 13 (9 mm) or size for gauge
- Large-eyed blunt needle
- Tape measure
12 sts = 4"(10 cm) in K2, p2 Rib.
K2, p2 Rib (worked over a multiple of 4 sts)
Row 1: *K2, p2; rep from * across.
Row 2: K the knit sts & p the purl sts.
Rep Rows 1 & 2 for K2, p2 Rib.
Color is changed every other row. Carry color not in use up side of work. Scarf is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together. Wind each skein of yarn into 2 separate balls before beginning.
With 2 strands of A held together, cast on 28 sts.
Rows 1 & 2: With 2 strands of A, work in K2, p2 Rib.
Rows 3 & 4: With 2 strands of B, work in K2, p2 Rib.
Rep Rows 1-4 until piece measures 64" (162.5 cm) from beginning.
Weave in ends.
