Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts.

Special Benefits: Two main types of interfacing include fusible (which is applied with heat) and sew-in. They can be knit or woven, and come in a variety of weights to reinforce different kinds of base fabric.

Pellon® 70 Peltex® Ultra-Firm Sew-In Stabilizer 20" x 10 yd Board is an ultra firm, smooth, heavyweight, sew-in stabilizer for extra support. It is excellent for accessories, crafts, home decorating, and quilting. Peltex® is easy to sew, even when sandwiched in between other fabrics. It will not flatten or distort with steam pressing. It has no grain and can be cut in any direction. Style: 70-B10

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loss in quality I've been using this for over 4 years, it used to be thick and stiff. Over time the stiffness is not what it used to be but not so bad. I got the worst bolts ever last week and today. Still the same thickness but not stiff at all. I can't seem to use this alone for my baskets without adding another layer of a fusible stabilizer to the fabric just to stay close to the quality I create. I feel so disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great for projects this is a great stiff interfacing. I use it for fabric boxes and fabric postcards. It's not fusible which is what I'm looking for. It is soft to the touch but sturdy stiff. I can sew though to quilt project.

I've made greeting cards, purse organizers and so many other great items. Also, I lucked out and caught a sale, so I have plenty on hand now! It came well packaged and very quickly.
