Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts.

Pellon® 72F Peltex® Ultra-Firm 2-Sided Fusible Stabilizer 20" x 10 yd Board is an ultra-firm, double-sided fusible stabilizer. It provides smooth, heavyweight stabilization for accessories, crafts, home decorating, and quilting. It is sewing machine safe and will not flatten out or become distorted with steam pressing. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Most unhappy 🙁 I can't speak to product performance, my review is ONLY based on the the condition in which it was sent to me. Let me start by saying that I have never purchased this particular item before. However, I buy many other Pellon products. When I buy a bolt, it is on the board with the brand name label on the board edge, and the brand wrapper around the product. There is also plastic shrink wrapping covering it all. What I received with this bolt was dirty fabric with no outer plastic wrapper. It was wrapped around a piece of plain FLAT cardboard, not the product board. It had no brand markings of any kind, and the whole bundle was strapped to the cardboard with clear packing tape. ARE YOU SERIOUS JOANN!?? I don't know who thought it was a good idea to send a product to a customer like this. Not only am I doubtful it is a full bolt, it is dirty and unsanitary. Fortunately, I don't have a pending project that needs this because I would be even more livid at receiving this in such poor condition. I only bought this because I had future plans to make purses, and the reviews on this were great. It was also available at a great price. However, no matter the savings, I will see to it that you get this dirty mess back, and I will buy in the store instead if I really want it. I don't shop with you much online, and this experience has soured even the occasional online purchases I would make with you. 👎

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great heavy-weight stabilizer This is a great heavy-weight double sided fusible stabilizer. It's got enough "stiffness" to hold its shape in craft projects and purses and totes and lots of other items. I would give it 5 stars if it came in a wider width. It is 20" wide and the pattern for the woven bowls that I am working on use a 15" width. That leaves me with a 5" strip that is way too narrow for other projects. (at least I haven't found a use for it yet) It does fuse nicely to cotton fabrics and doesn't "bubble" like some other interfacing brands that I've used in the past.
