Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts.

Special Benefits: Two main types of interfacing include fusible (which is applied with heat) and sew-in. They can be knit or woven, and come in a variety of weights to reinforce different kinds of base fabric.

The Pellon TP971F Fusible Thermolam Plus Fusible Fabric-White is an extra lofty, needled fleece with fusible adhesive on one side. Made of polyester, it is perfect for craft, home decorating and quilting projects. This fusible fabric will remain lofty after fusing, and can be used on fabric, cardboard or wood.

I have recently become a fan of making Mondo and Midi bags, and this fusible fleece is the perfect product to make a bag that keeps good shape. The bag is so lovely I had to purchase a whole bolt to keep up with the orders! It does tend to shrink a little when ironed, so just cut it a little bigger than needed. I love it!
