  • Lily® Sugar’ n Cream® Super Size (4 oz; 200 yds):
    Color A - Yellow 1 ball
    Color D - Cream 1 ball
    Color E - Rose Pink 1 ball
  • Bernat® Handicrafter Delux (5 oz; 236 yds):
    Color B - Black 1 ball
    Color C -
    Cloves 1 ball
  • U.S. F or 5 crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

Gauge - 15 sc and 16 rows = 4"

Notes:
• When joining colors, work to last 2 loops on hook of first color. Draw new color through last 2 loops and proceed.

• Ch 2 at beg of row does not count as hdc.
With B, ch 2.
1st row: (WS). 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. (2 sc in next sc) twice. Turn. 4 sc.
3rd row: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 2 sc in last sc. Break B. Join C. Turn. 6 sc.

34th row: (RS). Join E with sl st in horizontal bar created below first hdc of previous row.

With C, work 6 sc along side of 4th to 10th rows. Join A. With A, work 25 sc up side of 11th to 20th rows. Join D. With D, work 3 sc up side of 21st to 23rd rows. Join E. With E, work 5 sc up side of 24th to 29th rows, 18 sc across top edge and 5 sc down opposite side of 29th to 24th rows. Join D. With D, work 3 sc down side of 23rd to 21st rows. Join A. With A, work 25 sc down side of 20th to 11th rows. Join C. With C, work 6 sc along side of 10th to 4th rows. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
