SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

PENCIL HOLDER:

  • Woodhaven papercrafting coordinates:
    • Mixed Media Paper Pad
    • Die-cut accents
  • Tin can
  • Ribbon
  • Ruler
  • Scissors or craft knife
  • Assorted sharpened pencils
  • Adhesive

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Measure height of the tin can. Cut patterned paper to that height. Wrap the paper around the container to determine the width. Trim excess paper. Adhere paper to the can.
  2. Adhere ribbon to cover the top rim both inside & out.
  3. Embellish can with punch-outs, die-cut accents, stickers & ribbon.
  4. Select several patterned papers to wrap the pencils. Trim to 11/4"x61/2" for standard #2 pencil.
  5. Apply adhesive to entire back of paper; roll paper over pencil.

JOURNAL:

  • Woodhaven papercrafting coordinates:
    • Mixed Media Paper Pad
    • Die-cut accents
  • Fabric Flowers
  • Blank chipboard book or journal
  • Brads
  • Scissors or craft knife
  • Adhesive

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Trim patterned papers to dimensions of book pages. Coat backs papers with adhesive. Place over the pages.
  2. To create page tabs adhere punch-out accents to right edges of pages. Position overlapping the edges.
  3. Embellish book cover with papers, ribbon, brads, punch-outs & flowers.
