perfect harvest centerpiece
SUPPLIES:
TOOLS:
FUN-KINS� pumpkin (one per centerpiece) Kitchen knife
FUN-KINS� carving tool
Awl
1 block of craft foam
Scissors
Wire cutters
1 large rose flower bush
Dull pencil or stylus
1 berry bush
3 fall fruit stems
5 feathers
2 smaller flower bushes for fillers
DIRECTIONS:
1. Use carving tool or knife to cut hole in top center of pumpkin
approximately 4'' diameter.
2. Using dull pencil or stylus, press firmly to make leaf shapes
on sides of pumpkin.
3. Use carving tool or knife to cut out shapes.
4. Use awl to poke holes in design.
5. Cut craft foam to fit opening in pumpkin. Place in the opening
and push craft foam till it touches the bottom. Cut foam height 1 2''
above the top of pumpkin.
6. Take time to fluff flower stems and berries to have curved
stems rather than straight.
7. Cut stems from flower bushes, leaving the stem as long
as possible.
8. Start positioning the flower stems around the base of the
pumpkin and fill upward using photo as a guide.
9. Add feathers as desired.
