Description

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 54" outdoor fabric:
    2/3 yd for 18" square pillow
    1/2 yd for 16" pillow, 14" pillow & 12"x16" rectangular pillow
  • Pillow forms for selected pillow sizes
  • Rotary cutter, mat & grid ruler
  • Basic sewing supplies
  • Sewing machine
  • Iron & ironing surface

DIRECTIONS:

CUTTING:
1. 18" square pillow: one front piece 19-1⁄2"x19-1⁄2", one back piece 19-1⁄2"x15-1⁄2" and one back piece 19-1⁄2"x11-1⁄2".
2. 16" square pillow: one front piece 17-1⁄2"x1-1⁄2", one back piece 17-1⁄2"x13-1⁄2" and one piece 17-1⁄2"x9-1⁄2".
3. 14" square pillow: one front piece 15-1⁄2"x15-1⁄2", one back piece 15-1⁄2"x11-1⁄2" and one piece 15-1⁄2"x7-1⁄2"
4. 12"x16" rectangle pillow: one front piece 17-1⁄2"x13-1⁄2", two back pieces 17-1⁄2"x9-1⁄2".
SEWING (same for all):
1. Fold over 1/2" to wrong side on one wide edge of each back piece.
2. Lay front piece right side up
3. Lay the largest back right side down on the front piece with three raw edges matching. Lay the smaller back piece right side down with three raw edges matching. Pin around edges. Sew all pieces together around the edge using a 5/8" seam allowance.
4. Clip corners and turn right side out. Press and insert pillow form.
