Description

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 6 pkgs green stone 6mm round beads
  • 6 pkgs pink stone 6mm round beads
  • 3 pkgs antique bronze glass faceted rondell beads
  • 1 antiqued copper two-strand toggle clasp
  • 2 antiqued copper head pins
  • 2½" antiqued copper oval links chain
  • 8 antiqued copper medium oval jump rings
  • 8 antiqued copper crimp beads
  • 16-ft tiger tail
  • Wire cutters
  • Crimper pliers
  • Round-nose pliers

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut eight 24" lengths of tiger tail.
2. String green stone 6mm round beads along 18" of the first tiger tail length.
3. Attach tiger tail ends to the antiqued copper medium oval jump rings on both ends using crimping technique.
4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 three more times.
5. To make a fourth strand, string antique bronze glass faceted rondell beads onto the middle of a tiger tail along 4 inches, then add an equal amount of pink stone 6mm round beads to both tiger tail ends making an 18" strand.
6. Attach tiger tail ends to the antiqued copper medium oval jump rings on both ends using crimping technique.
7. Repeat Steps 5 and 6.
8. To make a sixth strand, string antique bronze glass faceted rondell beads onto the middle of a tiger tail along 5", then add equal amounts of pink stone 6mm round beads to both tiger tail ends making an 18" strand.
9. Attach tiger tail ends to the antiqued copper medium oval jump rings on both ends using crimping technique.
10. Repeat Steps 8 and 9.
11. To make an eighth strand, string antique bronze glass faceted rondell beads onto the middle of a tiger tail along 4½", then add equal amounts of pink stone 6mm round beads to both tiger tail ends making an 18" strand.
12. Attach tiger tail ends to the antiqued copper medium oval jump rings on both ends using crimping technique.
13. Repeat Steps 11 and 12.
14. Attach ending jump rings of all four green bead strands to the one toggle clasp bar loop using an antiqued copper medium oval jump ring.
15. Twist green bead strands slightly then attach ends to the other toggle clasp bar loop using an antiqued copper medium oval jump ring.
16. Attach ending jump rings of all four pink and bronze bead strands to the one toggle clasp loop using an antiqued copper medium oval jump ring.
17. Twist the four pink and bronze bead strands slightly.
18. Pass the four pink and bronze bead twisted strands through the green bead strand loop, then attach ends to the other toggle clasp loop using an antiqued copper medium oval jump ring.
19. Create a dangle by sliding one antique bronze glass faceted rondell bead onto a head pin, forming a simple loop.
20. Repeat Step 19.
21. Cut one 1" length and one 1½" length of antiqued copper oval links chain.
22. Attach one chain length to the outer toggle clasp loop by opening ending chain link as a jump ring, then closing.
23. Attach another chain length to the outer toggle clasp bar loop by opening ending chain link as a jump ring, then closing.
24. Attach antique bronze glass faceted rondell bead dangles to the ends of the hanging chains for decoration.
