How To Get It

Poly-Fil Micro Beads are used in some of the most popular decorative pillows on the market today. Use them to create your own pillows and stuffed animals. This fill performs best when combined with stretchy polyester fabrics to create ultra-squishy pillows and crafts. Make great stress balls, sensory balls and therapy pillows. They can also be used for making Floam and Slime with the kids, as these micro beads do not fall out of slime easily. Great for an extra soft and smooth travel pillow. Not recommended for children under 5 years old. Care: Do not wash. Place micro beads in a removable bladder so the outer shell may be washed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New light-weight breasts I got a pattern and instructions online to make breasts for myself. The woman who provided them makes them to sell to women who need them. I had a radical mastectomy 7/1/15. I was happy to get breasts and a mastectomy bra from a hospital that gives them to women like me. But, at 1 lb. each, they are heavy to wear. I was scared of the micro beads because the lady had said they were so full of static and difficult to work with. I avoided working with them for weeks. Then I decided to tackle it and was pleasantly surprised. I cut a corner off and let the pouches fill. Then I hand stitched them closed. I appreciate wearing them and gave a pair to a dear friend today. She was overjoyed. I have another friend who had one breast removed so I have one for her, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from what I needed got this to make custom pillows for my sister who has neck problems and she loves them! however... read the directions on how to keep from making a mess!!! those darn little bead will scatter and stick to EVERYTHING if you aren't careful!!

Though micro beads are kinda hard to work with, they're worth it, just keep a vacuum handy for cleaning up fly-a-ways and a dryer sheet to rub on your hands to help with the static making them cling to you. Also, it says in the description to not wash them, but I use them all the time inside tightly sewn forms and I've washed them over and over and over, for years, usually in a basin of cool water and mild soap. Never had a problem, so far.
