Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very unhappy with this product This product is supposed to be great for embroidery. However, it doesn't have an adhesive back to attach easily to the fabric. In addition, it's very hard to get the needle through the paper. I'm only on the first letter of a name and the paper is ripping. I'd like to return it. I'm so unhappy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun way to embroider! A friend gave me a sheet to try out and it made creating custom embroidery so much easier. If you don't know how it works, it's a sticky paper-sized fabric that feels like interfacing. You can print an embroidery design with your printer right onto the stabilizer, than stick the pattern to the fabric you're embroidering. Once you've embroidered over it, it dissolves in water. I prefer to use it for custom designs that I draw directly onto the material. Much easier for me than using a special pencil or marker than doesn't always wash out. You can also print in colors if you want a better guide. My issues with it is the adhesive lifts from time to time, it can take a little time to get used to stitching through it. Also, when you dissolve the stabilizer, it can get kind of glue-y so try to cut off as much excess as you can before adding water.
