Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cutting bed not wide enough I have owned this for several years to use for scrapbooking! I work with 8.5 X 11 inch albums, but most paper comes 12 X12 ", so I have to do a large amount of trimming. It works well and gives a clean cut for the 8.5" side but there is no swingout measuring bar for accurately trimming the 11" side, as the base is only 9" wide and the 1" line is blocked by the cutting bar. I had to adhere it on a separate 12" cutting mat (extra $) to use it, so it is not portable for travelling to crops. It is great for small trimming jobs like cards and photos, not what I needed! Also Joann's does not carry the cutting strips which need replacing frequently, or the deco blades!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok for making cards etc This is a very nice cutter, however, it is not for anything more than card-stock as there is not enough room under the bar and the blade is not long enough to cut any thing of more thickness.. Great for making cards etc.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from it's small enough to store easily I was excited to have a paper cutter that didn't just cut straight lines. BUT it did not come with the designing cutting blades; it ONLY had the straight one. BUMMER now I have to purchase the other blades in order to truly enjoy this item.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Guidelines are not accurate Just bought this trimmer and when I line my paper up to the guideline the actual cut is about 1/8" smaller than the size the gridline shows. So the 5" line actually cuts the paper at 4 7/8". Will be returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Have had this for 7 yrs now, bought all cutting blades on-line at the Carl site. I used self stick velcro on blade cases to attach them all under the trimmer. Never lose them at all. Love it. Replacement cutting strips are always available at Staples.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from In love with mine I have mine for more that 3 years now, bought it after reading all the reviews I found of all trimmers that Joann had available. It is my favorite and must admit that I own five trimmers. When the blades get dull, i order more at Joann. Only con: it's difficult for cutting less than 2 inches pieces.
