AWESOME!
This was my first book, since I never sewed before, not even a button, my venture was a photo quilt for my mother who was dieing of cancer. I purchased a Singer Quantum 9940, fabric and this book. Well It went smoothly. I highly recommend this book to anyone, at any level. I have made several in the last 5 years and now own my own business. it all started with this easy to understand Quilt in a day book! this is a book you will never regret getting. Love it
Great for Beginner!

My First Quilting Book
This is the first quilting book that I purchased years ago. The method was so easy and quick, it made quilting fun. I have since made over 100 quilts.
The BEST Book Ever!!!
I am new to quilting and learning from a book is hard for me. But not with this book. It was so easy to read and follow. The book also gives different ways to assemble the quilt to get more designs from the basic block. This book is very visual. I give it A+++++
easy log cabin
The first time I used this book, my quilt layed flat & smooth! Her techniques are tried and true. It has written directions plus excellent illustration pictures. I will definitely give this book as a gift. And now all my quilts will lay flat, thanks to Eleanor Burns!
