Best Ruler for Sewing!
It is great because it is see-thru so you can use it on a multitude of fabrics. Also nice that it has inches horizontally and vertically.

Good for marking, not cutting
Lightweight and will be great for marking, but my rotary blade sliced right into the side and chipped it almost as soon as I started to use it.

Makes it easy to make straight cut.
I love the see thru ruler. It makes it easy to see the length of the cut and line up things on my cutting mat. The only problem I have is that I sometimes have issues with my cutter going over the edge of the ruler and it has nicked the edge of the ruler.

Okay But Not What I Hoped
I sew garments, not a quilter, but I wanted a smaller ruler to add to my arsenal for pattern alterations. This ruler was very difficult to see on the website, so I took a chance hoping the 1/4", 1/2", 5/8", 1" markings would be clear. Well, the lines are there but they are not marked. However I do like the size and that the ruler is light and flexible so it still comes in handy as a straight edge. If I have a small area to mark in inches or half inches it works fine, but for large areas I use my larger ruler that is marked more clearly.

It’s as advertised. Have already used it several times to make grids for sashiko and pattern making.
