My dear husband purchased this chair for me for my birthday. I was so excited when he put it together; it is so cute! But as everyone else has said, the casters are beyond awful. I was sewing away and the casters on the front of the chair snapped right off! Very disappointing. I will definitely try calling Arrow about this issue. The fabric is great though and I love the storage in the seat of the chair.
I bought 2 of these chairs. I sat in the first one ONCE...the caster broke and I almost landed on my head. this is DANGEROUS...they must do something about these casters! this is probably why I got them at such a great price!
I purchased 3 of these chairs from JoAnn Fabrics and got a fabulous price of $50.00 I was so sad when all three chairs ended up with a broke castor on the first sit. I called the manufacturer and they were extremely helpful. Amazing service, they shipped 3 heavy duty sets out to me priority mail. They received a bad batch of wheels from the manufacturer and are willing to correct it.
I purchased this chair for my birthday. I was very excited to use it and about the 3rd day of using it the caster broke. I went back to Joannes where i purchased it and they gave me a replacement. Again the caster broke. I think a recall of this product or new better caster should be sent out to all customer who made this purchase.
I have read the reviews and I was surprised as I own this chair. I had a question for the company about the fabric and called and they were super helpful. I would suggest that anyone who has a broken caster call Arrow at 1-800-533-7347 that is the number I called and am sure they will help.
I just purchased two of these chairs and first time of use, caster broke and wrenched my back--if you are older, this is a dangerous product and needs to be recalled. Let's see if this review is posted. Dangerous, dangerous, even though chair part is comfortable. I wonder what the true volume of complaints have been. Next time I'll read reviews before purchasing. My big mistake. I think Joann's should replace all casters and inform their customers of problem before someone receives a concussion when you fall out of the chair.
The chair itself is very sturdy but as stated by most everyone, the casters are horrible. On the second day of uuse one of the casters broke while I was sewing. Since I had read the reviews I used someone else's idea and went to Lowe's and purchased 4 heavy duty casters for a ttotal of $7. No problems since. I got this chair at 50% off, would not have paid full price.
I have had to purchase new casters, and yesterday the leg failed at the base of new casters. the leg split and now is being glued with gorilla glue. hope this helps other wise Joann will get it back. Darn it all. I do love the seat and size of this chair fits my back!. Doo you think anyone from Joann's or Arrow read these reviews??
