The Dritz Res-Q Tape Double-sided Adhesive Tape - Clear is a must-have in your sewing kit. This pack includes 5 yards of 0.38-inch-wide double-sided clear adhesive tape that clings to skin, fabrics, leather and paper without leaving a residue. Use it to temporarily hem skirts and pants, to hold necklines, straps and shoulder pads in place or to prevent gaps between buttons. It can also be used for quick basting without pins.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Basting Hems I love this stuff. I get the narrow one (almost 1/3 of an inch wide), because I use it for basting hems that are to small to bast with pins. Unline most double stick tapes it sticks to fabrics fairly well and continues to hold as I sew. (Just don't sew through it, otherwise you'll gum-up your needle.)
