Description

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 skein Sensations™ Sincerely yarn, Charcoal Grey
  • Size 8 circular needle
  • 1 set of 8 double pointed needles
  • Stitch markers
  • Large eye needle

DIRECTIONS:

Cast on 56 sts. Join, being careful not to twist stitches. Place stitch marker and carry up through work.
Rnd 1 – Purl.
Rnd 2 – K1, P1 to end of row.
Rnd 3 – P1, K1 to end of row.
Rnd 4-13 – Repeat Rnd 2 & 3.
Rnd 14- Purl.
Rnd 15 – K1, P1, (K1,P1 in same st), repeat from beginning to end of row, ending K1,P1.
Rnd 16 – K1,P1 to end of row.
Rnd 17 – K1, P1 into st in the round below next st. Repeat from beginning around.
Rnd 18 – P1, K1 into st in the round below next st. Repeat from beginning around.
Repeat Rnd 17 and 18 until hat measures 10" from beginning, or desired length.
Next round – Knit.
Decrease rounds. (Change to double pointed needles when needed.)
Rnd 1 – K2tog, K11, K7.
Rnd 2 – K2tog, K10, K6.
Rnd 3 – K 2tog, K9, K5.
Rnd 4 – K2tog, K8, K4.
Rnd 5 – K2tog, K7, K3.
Rnd 6 – K2tog, K6 ,K2.
Rnd 7 – K2tog, K5, K1.
Rnd 8 – K2tog, to end.
Rnd 9 – K2tog, to end.
Cut yarn and slip through remaining stitches and pull tight, weave in ends.
