DIRECTIONS: Read directions before beginning. Refer to photo.
1. Cut 2 large sandstone 14"x1/2" strips. Cut 1 large white 14"x1/2" strip.

2. Cut 4 medium brown 5 1/2"x1/2" strips. Cut 6 medium cocoa 5 1/2"x1/2" strips.

3. Cut 4 small cocoa 4"x1/2" strips.

4. Cut two 2" sandstone circles.

5. Glue all the medium and small strips together at the ends to make a loop.

6. Glue the ends of the large strips down and add more glue while rolling the felt into a flower shape. The tighter it is rolled, the smaller the flower will be; the looser the felt is rolled, the larger the flower will be.

7. Glue all the medium loops randomly around the circular felt base, varying the colors.

8. Glue 1 small loop in the center & 3 flowers around the central loop, using it as a support.

9. Glue the remaining 3 small loops around the flowers and fill any gaps.

10. Cut small slits 1" apart in the center of the 2nd felt circle.

11. Put the ends of the pin back through the slit, so the frame is on the inside, while the pin & holder end are on the other.

12. Glue the felt piece with the pin to the felt base, with the pin frame side glued between the 2 pieces of felt.

13. Allow to dry and remove any excess strands of glue.
