Roman Shade Tube tape is a unique product that is applied on the horiz ontal, rather than vertical, edge of window treatments. The stitching and Shade Tape is in the same direction as the folds, reinforcing and stabilizing the folds or pleats. Depth of pleat is varied by varying the distance between rows of Roman Shade tube tape. Dowels are inser ted into the tubes for stability and crisp finish.

It's a great product. However, if you do not preshrink the tape with a very hot steam iron and a pressing cloth, when you sew it on the blind, and then iron the blind before hanging it in the window, the tape will shrink at the last ironing of the blind, and your beautiful blind that you spent so much time sewing is now a puckered mess!

I've bought this product many times in my local Jo-Ann store and noticed the price online was a little cheaper. I purchased it online and noticed the quality was very poor. The tape when layed out did not lay straight. After some investigation and talking to an employee at the store I noticed that the stores tape is made in the USA while online store sent me tape made in Pakistan. I would almost rather buy it in the store because it seems to be a heavier and sturdier weight. I'd rather buy products made in the USA as well. Why can't Joanns just sell the same product in store and online?

I have made a lot of Roman shades, and this is the BEST product ever! It takes care of carrying the dowels AND guiding the cords, and I never want to make Roman shades without it! I JUST NEED MORE, and soon! I have clinets waiting!
