  • 4 skeins Lion Brand® Vanna’s Glamour® yarn: Topaz or color of choice
  • Crochet hook size G-6 or size needed for gauge
  • Large-eyed blunt needle

SIZE:

18"x60", including edging.
GAUGE:
19 sts + 9 rows = 4" over pattern st.

DIRECTIONS:

STITCH EXPLANATION:
Picot-shell (3 dc, ch 3, sl st in 3rd ch from hook, 3 dc) in indicated sp.
Shawl is worked back and forth in rows in filet crochet. Picot edge is worked around outside of completed Shawl.

SHAWL:
Ch 82.
Row 1: Dc in 6th ch from hook (beg ch counts as 1 base ch, dc, ch 1), *ch 1, sk next ch, dc in next ch; rep from * across – 40 dc and 39 ch-1 sps.
Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as first dc, ch 1 in this row and in all following rows), turn, *sk next ch-1 sp, dc in next dc; rep from * to turning ch-sp, ch 1, dc in 4th ch of turning ch.
Rows 3-131: Ch 4, turn, *sk next ch-1 sp, dc in next dc; rep from * to turning ch-sp, ch 1, dc in 3rd ch of turning ch. Do not fasten off.
