Throw is worked in 1 piece, back & forth in rows.To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color; draw through all loops to complete st. Fasten off old color.
*Work 2 rows each with B, C, D, E, F, and G; rep from * for Color Sequence.
With A, ch 115.
Row 1: Work 3 dc in 7th ch from hook (beg ch counts as dc, ch 1), ch 1, * sk 3 ch, 3 dc in next ch, ch 1, rep from * to last 4 ch, sk 3 ch, dc in last ch – 83 dc.
Row 2: Ch 3 (count as first dc in this row and in all following rows), turn, 2 dc in first ch-1 sp, ch 1 * 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep from * to last ch-1 sp, 3 dc in last sp – 84 dc. Change to B in last st.
Row 3: With B, ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1
in this row and in all following rows), turn, *3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep from * to end of row, dc in top of beg ch-3 – 83 dc.
Row 4: With B, rep Row 2.
Continue to follow Color Sequence, rep Rows 3 and 4, working 2 rows in each color in sequence until 5 stripes of each color have been completed. Change to A in last st.
Next 2 Rows: With A, rep Rows 3 and 4.
Do not fasten off.
FINISHING: Turn to work along side edge of Throw.
Row 1: Ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1 in this row and in all following rows), *3 dc in next sp, ch 1; rep from * to last sp, 2 dc in last sp, dc in 4th ch of starting ch.
Row 2: Ch 4, turn, *3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep from * to last sp, 2 dc in last sp, dc in 2nd ch of beg ch-4. Fasten off.
Join A with sl st, and rep Rows 1 and 2 on opposite long edge of Throw.
Fasten off. Weave in ends.
