Rated 3 out of 5 by from stiff fabric I broke countless needles sewing this but I love the stiffness/texture of the fabric. My machine had trouble sewing 3 layers of this as well. I was impatient but I'm sure carefully sewing would save your needles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dulled the knives on my serger. Very stiff fabric. Not easy to work with. I used a serger and after making 2 very full skirts with a rolled hem edge at the bottom, I need to replace the knives on my serger. I barely made it through the 2 skirts. I would not buy this fabric again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from really atiff I bought this to make a petticoat for my granddaughter's flower girl dress. It was so thick and stiff that I found it extremely difficult to work with. I expected something with a little less stiffness and a bit more drape. Getting elastic through the waist was difficult but maybe it was because of the small size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Result probably worth the trouble CON - Very difficult to find needles to penetrate this tightly-woven fabric (after NUMEROUS attempts I used Inspira Microtex #12). PROS - There's very little raveling, end result is beautiful, it launders very nicely and for some there's surprisingly little static. I made matching vests for a flute sextet and was very pleased with the result.
