Wonderful!!!
As a new again sewer I have Loved, Loved Loved making myself outfits out of this ponte roma knit. Could NOT believe how wrinkle free it machine washes and dries. It's the ONLY knit I will ever purchase again. Makes an ordinary outfit look better than ready-made clothing. Wish it came in more colors, even some prints!!!!
PONTE ROMA
Ponte Roma is a beautiful knit! The bad review is probably referencing the regular Ponte which is a much heavier knit.
Not even sure I got what I ordered
I'm hesitant to even write a review, because this is so far from the description and other reviews I'm not even sure I received the right fabric. I purchased two yards of the black and it is exceptionally coarsely woven and rough. This might suit as an outside fabric for athletic wear, but it is by no means the soft, easily draped or clingy jersey knit advertised. Very disappointed. Cannot use this for any of the projects I had planned.
Amazing
This fabric makes any outfit look like a million dollars. I also buy it by the bulk, in every color. Highly recommended. I wish it would come in more different colors. Thanks JoAnn's
LOVE this fabric
Nice heavy weight knit with 2 way stretch, it is not bulky at all, the weight makes it drape beautifully. Very little shrinkage when I washed it before sewing, also very wrinkle resistant. All around super pleased with this cloth
Wow
I looked at a St. John color blocked outfit but it was too short and decided to see if I could make it more to my standards. I went to Jo Ann's and saw this material and tried it out. It is the best knit for this function I have used. The drape and weight are wonderful and the outfit outstanding....if I may say myself. I will buy this by the bolts moving forward.
