Sewing Chair Model 2000

Reviewer: Lelia , 04/25/2013

I purchased this chair a couple of years ago and it is a good chair for back support when sewing but like the others that commented, the wheels are lousy. mines broke twice and my husband has replaced one and now another has broken. Until they improve the casters (Wheels) I give this chair a overall Zero.

Sewing chair dissappointment

Reviewer: Leslie Nofsinger, 02/01/2013

I purchased this chair and I think it is really cute and I like the storage in the seat. But, The wheel broke off of mine and it is not even a year old, the plastic on that the wheel is made of is not very heavy duty. I'm so dissappointed. I hope I can get a new wheel, because I cannot use it now.

I love the chair but the right front caster keeps breaking.

I loved the chair..so cute. I bought 2 chairs on clearqance at an excellent price. My problem is that the second time I sat on the first chair, the caster broke off. I am fortunate that I didn't wreck my back!!! I need to get a set of casters. Any ideas?? Thanks.

Caution - Stay Away

I am not a heavyweight, but one of the wheels broke the second time that I sat on it. Upon further inspection, I saw that all of the weight was put on the front two wheels, making a black rubbing mark on the wood. I wanted to exchange it at first, but realized that this is a design defect. The weight is not evenly distributed like chairs with 6 pread out legs on wheels.

Just Right !!!

I just received my chair. Very great qaulity! Looks great in my sewing room and is very sturdy and comfortable. I do think the price is way to high, thank goodness I got it 50% off and free shipping . But overall I Love IT !!

Great Chair

Reviewer: Sabrena, 01/09/2011

I have been looking at sewing chairs for a long time at various stores. When I saw this chair online I absolutely feel in love with it. The fabric is beutiful and it is easy to put together. I was able to use the 50% off online discount when I ordered it. This chair was my Christmas present last year. It is very comfortable and moves easily on carpet. The seat cushion even lifts up so you can store a fair amount of sewing stuff. It's a great chair especially for the price.

Love it!!

Reviewer: Tina, 12/29/2010

This little chair is so adorable. I don't know why people are saying it isn't good quality. It is made of solid oak and the fabric is designer by Alexander Henry. It comes almost completely assembled. You only have to attach the back rest and gently tap in the casters. It did take me a while to figure out how to use the wrench that comes with it. You hold the bolt in place with a screwdriver and then tighten the nut with the wrench privded. One person should hold the screwdriver while the other tightens the nut. I got 50% off on this with free shipping but it is nice qulaity.
