CROCHET HOOK
One size US G-6 (4mm) or size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE
Gauge is not critical for this project.

STITCHES USED
Chain (ch), single crochet (sc), slip stitch (sl st)

SPECIAL STITCHES
double-loop-st: Wrap yarn around index finger twice and hold behind work, insert hook into indicated stitch and between the yarn wraps and your finger, remove your finger from wraps and draw wraps through stitch (leaving part of each wrap on other side of fabric to form loops), yarn over and draw through all loops on hook. Note: Loops form on side of fabric that is facing away from you.
double-loop-st2tog: [Wrap yarn around index finger twice, insert hook into next stitch and between the yarn wraps and your finger, remove your finger from the wraps and wraps through stitch (leaving part of each wrap on other side of fabric to form loops)] twice, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.
sc2tog: Single crochet 2 together – Insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, (2 loops on hook), insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook.

NOTES
1. Stuff sheep with fiberfill as work progresses, unless otherwise instructed.
2. Pieces are worked in continuous rounds; do not join and do not turn at end of rounds. Place a marker to indicate beginning of round and move marker up as work progresses.
3. Work tightly so fiberfill stuffing won't show between stitches.

For stitching, each section of instructions are put within a P tag. Lines are single spaced. Titles are italicized but NOT bolded.

Reviews
Sheep Toy is rated 3.3333 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Holes This pattern's choice of stitches leave little to be desired. there are holes that constantly form from the loops not being actually fastened off at any point. I do my stitches very tight, but the stuffing can still be seen. If just one of the loops slip out of place. It usually doesn't affect just the one row, but spans across multiple rows. It was too much of a headache to even finish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For a baby gift This was my first time making a stuffed animal and the picture is so cute I thought I would try it. It wasn't a hard pattern to follow but I did have some issues with the double loop stitch that I had to figure out. This project did take me longer than most but it did turn out cute. It turned out much larger than the picture seemed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok I changed the patterns so it was sc iNstead of it being so confusing. This made the finished product look better over all even though it didn't look exactly like the photo.
