Stretchy and durable
Fairly durable. I think I'm using it for something other than its intended use. Attaching small jingle bells to a crochet Christmas ornament. If stetched too much the silver overlay of the cord will split away. Doesn’t hinder the task though.

horrible string! not useful for ANYTHING
i bought this in silver and in gold in hopes to make friendship bracelets that were stretchy. that was not the case because the casing came off the elastic ANY time it was pulled or stretched in any way. when i cut the string, and when it was glued in hopes to keep the casing on, it worked at the end but the rest came off. do NOT waste your money

Plastic Cord Has Its Benefits
I have made jewelry for quite a while. I usually use wire and beads. I wanted to try elastic cord for a change. It is lighter in weight and much more versatile. I also can make fun bracelets for youth. When you twist several strands of beads together the result can be beautiful. It is much easier to be creative with the cord.
I also have found if I have an elastic bead bracelet on if I accidently bump it or catch it on something it gives. Wire jewelry will scratch. Elastic Cord definitely has its benefits.

Very thin, breaks easily. Could not use it for bracelets, necklaces or anything else becarás it breaks without stretching much
